About The Book
All that Sona Singh has ever wanted was a family of her own. Abandoned as a baby, raised in an orphanage, she wants roots. All she gets is a grumpy cat.
All that Maj. Samar Deshmukh has ever wanted was redemption. A chance to break free of the memories that still hold him prisoner. What he gets is having to babysit an accidental princess and her man-eating cat.
Can Sona ever find happiness with a man who refuses to love her for fear of losing her?
My Thoughts
Well, another romantic book and me, what a combination.
Let’s start with Sona, she is like most of us, crazy, vulnerable, yet fierce in her choices. She knows what she wants, and that is a family. Her character is understandable and well-drafted.
Whereas, Samar doesn’t even want to heal from the pain that is eating him from inside. Well, here I have some issues, this character is half baked at its best.
When Samar and Sona meet, it was a crazy ride promised by the author. At times too crazy and filmy.
The biggest strength of the book is its humorous dialogues. The banter between Samar and Sona is hilarious. There is not a single dull moment in the book. Also, the writing is crisp and fast. The flow of the book is brilliant.
However, the biggest weakness of this book is overdramatization and predictability. At times it feels like some Bollywood film.
Overall, this book is perfect for teenagers and new readers.
Enjoy Reading.
