About The Book
All that Sona Singh has ever wanted was a family of her own. Abandoned as a baby, and raised in an orphanage, she wants roots. All she gets is a grumpy cat.
All that Maj. Samar Deshmukh has ever wanted redemption. A chance to break free of the memories that still hold him prisoner. What he gets is having to babysit an accidental princess and her man-eating cat.
Can Sona ever find happiness with a man who refuses to love her for fear of losing her?
My Thoughts
Well, another romantic book and me, what a combination.
Let’s start with Sona, she is like most of us, crazy, vulnerable, yet fierce in her choices. She knows what she wants, and that is a family.
Whereas, Samar doesn’t even want to heal from the pain that is eating him from the inside.
When Samar and Sona meet, it was a crazy ride promised by the author.
The biggest strength of the book is its character portrayal and humorous dialogue. The banter between Samar and Sona is hilarious. There is not a single dull moment in the book. Also, the writing is crisp and fast.
The biggest weakness is overdramatization and predictability.
This book is perfect to read on a lazy afternoon.
